Price Police are investigating an armed robbery in which undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from Price's Greenwell Inn early Tuesday morning.

According to Price Police Capt. Bill Barnes, officers from multiple agencies were called to the Main Street hotel and convention center at 4:18 a.m. Price Police, the Utah Highway Patrol and Carbon County Sheriff's officials cleared the scene and established a perimeter. "When we arrived on scene, a hotel employee told us that she had been held up at gun point and that the assailant had gotten away with an undisclosed amount of cash," explained Barnes.

The suspect's description is not available at this time as police are currently investigating several leads. Anyone with information concerning the incident is encouraged to contact the Price City Police Department as soon as possible.
