Linda Ballard, on left of lectern, presents a check for $11,046.72 to Shirley Stubbs at the Aug. 15 county commission meeting. The money represents the proceeds of the Mike Ballard Memorial Golf Tournament held each year to raise money for worthy causes in the community.
