Soccer, horseshoe deadlines near

Deadlines are approaching next week for registration in Carbon Recreation's fall horseshoe league and youth soccer program.

The deadline for horseshoes is Aug. 29. The fee is $20 per team. Play will be on Wednesday evenings at the pits on 300 East in Price.

Last day for registering for youth soccer is Aug. 30. The fee is $37 with a jersey or $25 without. This program is for all boys and girls ages four and older. County Rec will offer a junior high program if there is enough interest. Games will be played on Mondays and Wednesdays at Creekview Elementary.
