The United Way of Eastern Utah is looking for volunteers to take part in a range of projects across the community Sept. 8.

The day will begin as it did last year, with a continental breakfast hosted by Fresh Market at 7:30 a.m. From there volunteers will fan out to the various projects, including such things as a cleanup of the Helper Parkway, landscaping at Active Re-Entry and renovating the new location of the Boys and Girls Club.

The event is sponsored by the Carbon County Road Department, Castleview Hospital, Fresh Market, Peterson Chemical, Price City, Sutherlands and Wal-Mart.

The will be a free barbeque for volunteers at the Dino-Mine Skate Park in Price.

For more information on the event and activities, contact Carole Wright at the United Way, 637-8911.
