Slovenian Day crowd fills park

The weather cooperated and the food was great for Sunday's Slovenian Day celebration in Price's Washington Park. Several hundred people showed up to enjoy each other's company. The annual event is a commemoratio of the Eastern European immigants who settled in Carbon County. In addition to entertainment, the festival also features ethnic cuisine, including pastries.
