HELPER - Albert J. Breznick, 87, died on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 in Charlottesville, Va.
Born July 14, 1925 in Colorado he was the son of Frank and Mary Breznick. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patsy; brother, Frank; and sister, Mary.
Albert was a life time resident of Helper, a place that he loved. His career in banking provided him the opportunity to develop personal relationships with many of the residence of Helper and the surrounding community. Albert also resided as the Justice of the Peace of Helper for many years and served as a member of the Carbon County School Board.
Albert was an avid outdoorsman, taking full advantage of the access to local trout fishing and hunting where he spent many enjoyable days with his sons and family.
Survived by his sons, John, Charlottesville, Va, David, San Diego, Calif; and sister, Edith Litizzette, Helper. Further, Albert maintained very close relationships with his nieces and nephew whom he loved as one of his own.
Albert will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
A memorial graveside service will be held Saturday, July 28, 2012, 11 a.m. at the Mt. View Cemetery in Helper. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice.
