Driver hurt, deer killed in daylight collision

A shattered windshield shows the point of impact with a buck deer that was struck Monday afternoon on US 6 just south of the east interchange in Price. The driver sustained minor injuries. The collision occurred shortly before 2 p.m., an unusual time of day for deer to be crossing the highway.
