Charles B. Sisneros, age 70, Vernal, passed away at the University Of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City on July 12, 2012.
He was born Dec. 30, 1941 in Price to Paul and Mary Martinez Sisneros. He married Karen Zamora in Elko, Nevada on Sept. 26, 1965. They moved to Vernal in 1968. He was employed with D.R.G. Railroad, American Gilsonite, and in the Oilfield Industry.
Charles loved fishing, hunting, and the outdoors. He loved his family and adored his grandchildren. One of his greatest joys in life was to be married. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and he valued his beliefs.
He is survived by his wife; Karen, children; Manuel and Michelle, grandchildren; Hayden and Zachary, brothers; Horace, Joe, and Gilbert Sisneros, and sisters; Carol Lopez and Leila Sisneros.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Leonard Sisneros.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Vernal 4th Ward LDS Chapel with a viewing one hour prior to services. Burial was in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Post 127 and 11 and the Utah Army National Guard. Funeral services were entrusted to the care of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
