EAST CARBON - Our special "Angel"Candace Ann Boyd (Sissy), age 30, was called home July 3, 2012 by her Heavenly Father after a year long fight with cancer. Candace was born Nov. 18, 1981 in Price. She is the loving daughter of BillieJean & Guy Koss and Norman C. & Tawnie Boyd.
Candace attended Castle Valley Center in Price from the time she was in Pre-School. She was blessed with many wonderful friends and care givers from Community Nursing Services.
Candace is survived by her mother, BillieJean & daddy Guy; father, Norman & step-mom Tawnie; brother, Norman ( Trent ) Boyd; sister-in-law, Amber Boyd; brothers, Ernie Koss, Tim (Grace) Koss, nephew and nieces, Cody Boyd, Nevaeh Boyd, Mikah Koss and Isabel Koss; grandmothers, Maxine Boyd, Reathel Koss; special sister-in-law, Jenann Koss, many aunts, uncles, cousins and not to mention numerous dear friends.
Preceded in death by her brother, Billy P. Boyd; grandpa Boyd; grandma & grandpa Preston, and grandpa Robert Koss.
Candace was a very special dear angel from the day she was born. She touched many lives in ways that will never be forgotten. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Candace I love you my "Special Angel" and you will be missed more than my words can say.You are in my heart and soul always.

Funeral services were held, Friday, July 6, 2012, 11 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 E. Main Street) Price. Family will be at Mitchell's Friday one hour prior to services. Interment, Valley View Cemetery, Sunnyside. Friends are welcome at Mitchell Funeral Home daily and may share memories of Candace at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
