SANDY/PRICE - Glenn John Procarione, age 73, passed away July 1, 2012 after a brave struggle with cancer. Glenn was very kind, compassionate and patient. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
Glenn was born July 8, 1938 to Antonio Procarione and Maria Perelli in Price. Glenn graduated from Carbon High School in 1956. He married Kathleen Peterson in 1966 and became a longtime resident of Sandy.
Glenn was a devoted father, grandfather and friend. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren: Tanner, Samuel and Kate. Glenn enjoyed working in the retail business and owned a shoe store for many years. He had a great love of baseball and found great pleasure in coaching little league teams. He liked fishing and socializing with many friends and family.
Glenn is survived by his daughter, Pam (Adam) Oblad; three grandchildren, brothers, James (Betty) Procarione, Rudy (Alma Rae) Procarione, Ernest (Patricia) Procarione; sister Juanita (Ralph) Budo.
Glenn was preceded in death by his father, mother, sister Norma (Boyd) Berensen and brother Alberto.
Funeral service, Thursday, July 5, 2012, 11 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home, 233 E. Main Street, Price. The family will be at Mitchell's Thursday morning from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment, Price City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are welcome daily and may share memories of Glenn at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
