Public safety officials have closed SR 96 leading into Scofield at the junction of US 6.
The evacuation of Scofield town, boat camps along the reservoir and all campsites is now mandatory.
There are now designated evacuation sites for pets and livestock from the affected areas. Large animals such as cattle and horses should be taken to the Carbon County Fairgrounds. Dogs and cats can be temporarily housed at the new animal shelter on Airport Road.
