Due to the extreme fire hazard brought on by exceptionally dry conditions, Helper City has placed a restriction on the lighting of fireworks over the July 4th holiday.

The use of fireworks is limited to the period beginning Monday, July 2, through Friday, July 6.

Additionally, no open fires outside of an enclosed fire pit are allowed within the city until further notice. Violation of these restrictions will result in a citation of the responsible party.

For more information, contact the Helper City Fire Department at 472-3572 or Helper City Hall at 472-5391.
