PRICE - Our beloved father, son, brother and uncle, Wesley Verl Thorngren, age 53, passed away peacefully May 25, 2012 with his loving sister by his side.
He was born in Price on Jan. 6, 1959 to Clinton Verl and Carolyn Rose Larsen Thorngren. After Clinton's passing he was raised by his mother and William Barney.
Wesley was a very independent person who didn't like to burden anyone and he always tried to take care of things on his own. He had a good heart and touched many lives along his journey.
He was a strong person and never let on how much pain he was in. Wesley was very proud and didn't like to have attention drawn to him. He never complained about his personal demons and confronted them bravely until the end.
Survived by his son Austin Thorngren, Castle Dale, whom he cared for very much; one brother and two sisters, Dennis (Jennifer) Barney, Ramona (Delbert) Fiack, both of Elko, Nev., Cathy (Paul) Pugliese, Price; two nephews and seven nieces.
Preceded in death by his father, Clinton; mother, Carolyn; infant son Jarrid and niece Sharon.
We love you very much and will miss you everyday until we meet again.
Graveside service, Friday, June 1, 2012, 10 a.m., Cleveland City Cemetery. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home Thursday evening 7 - 8 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are welcome daily and may share memories of Wesley at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
