Somewhere in this mass of thousands of honeybees is the queen. She followed her scouts to this pine tree at about 900 North and 200 East in Price, and where she goes, a multitude of bees from the former hive follow. The workers are guided by pheromones the queen emits. Bees are not aggressive when they swarm in search of a new spot for a hive unless they feel threatened by someone coming too close. Once the bees leave the old hive, the pressure is on them to get down to bee business. They live on only what honey is in their little stomachs. Fortunately, an experienced beekeeper came and collected the bees to take them to a new home.
