PUBLIC NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY
The Utah State Office of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has
approved an application for Lease modifications and a partial
relinquishment of Federal coal lease UTU-07064-027821 held by Canyon
Fuel Company, c/o Ark Land Company, City Place One, Suite 300, St.
Louis, MO 63141, as lessee, on March 12, 2012. Based on these coal
lease modifications and this partial relinquishment
Canyon Fuel Company wants to modify the Soldier Creek Logical
Mining Unit (LMU), UTU-73340, in accordance with 43 CFR 3487. The
proposed LMU modification is available for review at the BLM, Utah
State Office, 440 West 200 South, Suite 500, Salt Lake City, Utah.
The LMU modification would add portions of the lands contained in
the Federal coal lease modifications of lease UTU-07064-027821 that
are not contained in the partial relinquishment. The description of
the lands contained within the modified area to be added to the
Soldier Creek LMU is as follows:
