Fight in Price leads to man's death
A 32-year-old man was fatally stabbed during a fight in Price at a home near Mont Harmon Junior High Friday afternoon.
The Price Police Department stated that Jordon Wilcox, 21, and the older man were arguing about 4:30 p.m. outside of a home at 390 North and 100 East in Price.
The argument apparently escalated after the older man alledgely made some aggressive moves toward Wilcox. Wilcox reportedly stabbed the victim in the chest with a large kitchen knife, according to police.
After a call from the home owner, Price Police Department officers and the Carbon County Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene.
The man was later pronounced dead at Castleview Hospital.
Wilcox was arrested and was booked into the Carbon County Jail on suspicion of first degree murder.
Reports say that Wilcox was living in the home and the other man often visited the house.
There has been no information on why the fight occurred.
The stabbing victim's name has not been released because his family had not been notified as of this posting.
