CHS boys tennis team looking for success as season ends

The Carbon High boys tennis team played Delta at home on Thursday, April 19 and despite playing well they lost 4-1. The second doubles team won for the second time this season against Delta, according to CHS head coach Pete Riggs.

The Dinos continued season play on Tuesday, April 24 at North Sanpete. Again despite playing well overall, the Dinos lost all of the varsity spots. The team did win two or three junior varsity spots, Riggs said.

The Dinos followed with a loss to Payson on Thursday in Price.

"The kids are still working hard and improving," Riggs said.

The Dinos have three matches this week including a home match with Spanish Fork today at 3 p.m.

Next week the team will have their last regular season match on Tuesay at Payson and then followed by the regional tournament on Friday and Saturday at Snow College.
