After starting their Region 12 schedule with a 3-0 record, a recent three-game losing streak is putting the Carbon High Dinos baseball in a tough position with four games to play.

In their second game against Spanish Fork last week, Carbon fell to the region-leading Dons 4-1 on the road. Carbon and Spanish Fork kept things close through the first five innings before the Dons put four runs on the board in the bottom of the sixth inning. Carbon added one run in the top of the seventh inning but were unable to mount a comeback.

Now Carbon enters the final part of their schedule with four games, including two at home and two on the road.

Carbon (11-6, 3-3 Region 12) will begin with a home game today against Payson (12-6, 5-1 Region 12) at 3:30 p.m. The game provides a chance for Carbon to defeat a team ahead of them in the standings. Carbon will then travel to Payson on Thursday before finishing up the final week of the regular season with a home game against North Sanpete on Tuesday May 1 followed by a road game in North Sanpete on May 3.
