The Carbon High girls softball team looked to be on the right track early on against Juab, but the Lady Dinos did not get the end result they were looking for in a 15-5 loss on Friday afternoon.

Carbon took an early 3-0 lead after the first inning and held onto their lead until the third inning. The Juab offense woke up scoring seven runs in the top of the third inning to take a 7-3 lead.

While Carbon added another run in the bottom of the inning to cut the deficit to 7-4, Juab put together another strong inning scoring five runs to take a commanding 12-4 lead.

Carbon was unable to recover and ultimately fell to Juab 15-5.

Carbon (5-13 overall, 0-6 Region 12) will travel to North Sanpete today for a league game starting at 3:30 p.m.
