For over 50 years the Methodist Church has sponsored the Lenten Lunches, that provides all of the churches in Price a chance to come together and tell the story of Lent in a meaningful and inspiring way regardless of denomination.

The churches involved this year included Ascension St. Matthew's Church, Rev. Jim Drury; Christian Missionary Alliance, (Price Chapel) Pastor Milt Davis; New Life Ministries, Pastor Andrew Lasslo; Liberty Faith Fellowship, Rev. Steve Jones; St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Sister Paula; Price Methodist Church, Rev. Les Huseby.

The $1,398.68 received in the offering were given to McKell Warburton, director with the Boys and Girls Club of Carbon County. The Club broadens the youth experience in Price and Carbon County to look at life with fun and responsible growth of values, encouraging all youth to be involved and learning about the possibilities of life for the future.

Rev. Huseby and Nedra Cooper donated some spare pocket change to make the donation an even $1,400.
