She was born Oct. 2, 1922 in Sego to Charles and Chlora Hyatt Semken. She married Paul Raymond Baker November 29, 1941 in Elko, Nev. Paul died Oct. 13, 2000.

Norma heart was always in Carbon County. She loved her childhood years growing up in Consumers and was a life-long resident of Carbon County until leaving in 2011. At which time, she moved to Boise, Idaho to live with her daughter, Carole.
