Payson scores early and often in rout of CHS

Getting an early lead in softball helps give a team confidence. And when a team continues to add to their lead, the opponent is often left with trying to overcome a large deficit.

This was the case for the Carbon High girls softball team in their game against Payson on Tuesday afternoon. Payson took a quick 6-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back on their way to a 14-3 win.
