SALT LAKE/HELPER - A bright light went out here on earth with the passing of our daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, Janet Voll MacKnight. Jan passed away suddenly March 29, 2012 at her home in Salt Lake City, but her light will shine forever in our hearts.
She was born in Ft. Lee, Va. on Oct. 15, 1952 to Betty Taskar and William E. "Bill" Voll.
While attending college Jan married Scott MacKnight in Price and they later divorced.
She is survived by her mother, Betty Voll, Helper; brother, Kevin Voll, Park City; nephew and niece, Kale and Kiersha Voll.
Preceded in death by her father, Bill.
Memorial service, Thursday, April 5, 2012, 11 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 E. Main Street) in Price. Family will be at Mitchell's Thursday one hour prior to service. Interment, Mt. View Cemetery, Helper. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are welcome to share memories of Jan at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
