Two big innings the difference in loss for Carbon High softball team

The North Sanpete Hawks softball team used two big innings to help overcome an early deficit on their way to an 8-5 victory over the Carbon High girls team on Thursday afternoon.

North Sanpete scored four runs in the third and added three more in the top of the fourth inning to take a commanding 7-3 lead that the Lady Dinos could not overcome.

CHS is now 4-8 on the season including an 0-1 record in Region 12 play. The Lady Dinos will next play at Juab High today at 3:30 p.m.
