CARBONVILLE - Today, March 13, 2012, our dad, papa, grandpa and great-grandpa, Antonio Manuel "Bud" Jaramillo left this world to once again be with his precious sweetheart, Rose, while surrounded by his loving family.

Bud was born Jan. 14, 1929 in Montrose, Colo., to Manuel and Celia Chavez Jaramillo. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and shortly after returning from the service he met, fell in love and married "the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen" on April 9, 1949. When Mom passed away in 2008, he was heartbroken and missed her terribly. Their love for each other was the one of a kind every one dreams of having.

Together they raised a beautiful family, Cindy (Frank) Pero, Toni (Bert) Jeanselme, and Terry (Jane) Jaramillo. They also have two "kids", Richard and Lynne Rudman. Dad's love for his family was endless. He instilled in us a great respect for others. He had a strong work ethic and taught us to always give our best in all we do.

Bud had several jobs over the years, but his favorite was working at Carbon High School. He loved being around all the kids and they loved him. To many he was known as "Grandpa Buddy" and he made friends everywhere he went.

He was the best Grandpa ever! Many of our happiest memories with him will be camping, deer hunting, building a snowman in the front yard or just sitting quietly in his lap while he rocked the grandkids and sang the "do do do do" song. We'll never forget the volleyball and horseshoe games.

Dad loved a good party! Many a New Year was spent laughing and playing pool in the basement. He and Mom could clear a dance floor with their jitterbug or polka.

Dad and Mom's love and devotion will forever live and inspire their children and grandchildren: Amie (Tory) Christiansen, Andy Jeanselme, Brett Jeanselme, Melissa (Brad) Heiner, Kristy (Hernan) Ortiz, Tiffany (Ed) Malmgren, Nicholas Rudman and Marissa Lydia; 17 great-grandchildren and his cat Rosie. He is also survived by two sisters, Aline Martin and Sylvia Stevenson.

Dad requested no services. We suggest sharing memories or donating to your favorite charity.

We would like to thank Dr. Etzel and the staff of Castleview Hospital for the wonderful loving care Dad received. A special thanks to Dannette Moynier for her special support.

Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are welcome to share memories of Bud at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
