PRICE - Ileene Sargent Oliveto, age 87, passed away March 12, 2012 at Parkdale Care Center in Price.

After meeting Dominic Oliveto at Hill Field in Utah, they married on June 30, 1947 in Price. The couple built their own family business and opened the Milky Way in Price on Sept. 29, 1947. Ileene was a proud member of Soroptimist International since 1952. Locally she served as Treasurer and President. Regionally she served in several positions on the board, including a two year term as Governor for the Rocky Mountain Region. During her service she was honored with membership in the Laurel Society, an elite group within Soroptimist that focuses on giving time and money to help others. She completed her service by attending her final conference last year in Price. In Ileene's later years she was known for her love of Santa Clause collectibles and she enjoyed sharing them with her family.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Parkdale Care Center for the excellent care and friendship extended to Ileene. Also we would like to extend a special thanks to Bonnie for making Mom's stay so memorable.
