Firefighters and emergency personnel work to pull a 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier out of a ditch near 600 S and 100 E on Wednesday afternoon. According to Price Police Chief Aleck Shilaos, a 17-year old driver was driving along the street when the car veered into the pole, breaking the guy-wires supporting the pole. Power was knocked out in the surrounding area for a while. The driver and a 10-year old passenger suffered only minor injuries. According to the police report, the driver was adjusting the car radio just before hitting the pole. The driver was cited for unsafe lane travel, according to Shilaos.
