Loss leaves PHS boys out of state tourney

After falling to Region 19 leader Green River 64-38 on Tuesday night, the Pinnacle High boys basketball team was eliminated from a shot at the 1A state tournament.

Head coach Andrew Olson said the team needed to beat Green River and win their final region home game to have a shot at going to the state tournament.

Pinnacle (11-8 overall, 3-6 Region 19) will take on Manila on Friday night at 7 p.m. at the PHS gymnasium.

The Panthers will conclude their season on Thursday, Feb. 23 against Whitehorse at home.
