Early Sunday morning Price Police Chief Aleck Shilaos' wife looked out front window of their home and saw that the chief's car had been wrapped in shrink wrap. It was wrapped very nicely and in fact went totally around and under the under the car.

There were also several small candy bars laying all over the vehicle. There was also the first name of the female person spelled out, with candy, on the hood.

On windshield was written, "It would be sweet if u go to the dance with me?"

It seemed the chief had a fan, and some fast explaining to do, but the mystery was resolved quickly.

The invite was determined to be from a teenager who was trying to invite a young man who lived across the street and who also drove a blue car. According to the chief he had moved away from that address some time ago, so the chief's car was the blue car on the block.

No one knows if the girl got the date or not with the young man, however, according to the chiefs wife, he was unable to attend the dance.
