The Carbon High diving team competed in Park City on Dec. 10. Kindra Edwards had been competing in the six dive competition because she had not mastered eleven dives. In Park City, Edwards placed 12th in her first eleven dive competition, failing only one dive, said Carbon High diving coach Stewart Foster.

Fellow diver Joel Garff placed eighth, failing two dives in Park City.

At the Kamas Event on Jan. 7, Edwards improved her eleven dive score and did not fail any dives. She placed seventh out of 14 divers at the competition. Garff also had a successful diving meet, placing fifth.

Currently, Edwards is ranked 11th in the state. Garff is ranked eighth and fellow diver Caden Sherman is ranked seventh.

The Region results from Saturday, Jan. 28 will be printed as soon as they are made available.
