Library offers apps class for teens
The Price City Library is launching a new program: App Academy 4 Teens.
Teens from Carbon & Emery County will get together once a week to learn the basics of programming mobile apps for Android devices such as smart phones and tablets.
Moki Networks of Utah County is supporting this program and will help the students through the learning process.
The classes will begin March 1 in the library at 5 p.m. and are open to Carbon and Emery teens between the ages of 13 and 18. There is no cost, but the class size is limited to 15 and students will be selected on the basis of aptitude, creativity and desire.
Students must apply to be a part of the group. Students can apply on the website at www.aa4t.com.
