BID NOTICE
Carbon County will accept sealed bids for a new, 2500 series heavy
duty pickup truck. The minimum specifications are.
Must be a new unused truck On-off road tires (including spare)
Heavy duty 2500 series, 4 door Receiver hitch-tow package
Climate Control Cab 30 gal fuel tank or more
AM-FM radio Brush guard for grill
4X4 Heavy duty external oil
cooler
Diesel engine 6.0 or larger Electric block heater
Automatic transmission Bumpers front & rear
Shift on the fly 4x4 Extendable & heated mirrors
3.73+ limited slip rear end
Skid plates
List all options or other features, also all maintenance and
warranty information.
Bids are due at the Carbon County clerk's office at 120 East Main,
Price, Utah 84501, prior to 5:00 p.m. January 17, 2012. Bid opening
date is January 18, 2012 at a regular commission meeting beginning at
4:30 pm at the County Courthouse, 120 East Main Street, Price Utah.
On the outside of a sealed envelope write (in Red Ink) "bid for
pickup".
Carbon County is not responsible for bids that are received late due
to delays in delivery by any source. Faxed bids are not accepted.
Carbon County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive
any informality of any bid and select the bid which in the opinion of
the county provides the best product, warranty and /service for the
county.
