Crowd chills out at skate party

A fire in the pit, hot chili and toasted marshmallows provided some warmth for skaters and watchers Saturday at the ice skate party hosted by Carbon Recreation. Carbon Rec has ice skates for rent. Warm clothing was a must at the pond Saturday. While the temperature was above freezing, flags were flying straight out from the poles and the wind chill made it feel much colder.
