J. Paul Dunford

Paul Dunford was born on June 13, 1956 in Dragerton to Avery and Helen (Scovill) Dunford. He died on Dec. 5, 2011 at his home in Olathe, Colo., of a heart attack.

Paul was a member of the LDS church. He graduated from Utah State University with a Masters Degree in Finance. He worked for us steel after graduation and was transfered to Colorado. After us steel closed he worked in banking for many years and was currently working at First National Bank of Colorado. He was the past president and current treasurer on the rotory club and was on the zoning commission in Olathe, Colo.

He married Iris Miller in Paonia, Colo., they later divorced.

Paul loved sports and spent his spare time officiating high school football, and basketball. He also loved to fish and hunt in the Colorado mountains, but the love of his life was his daughter Shannon.Who he was so proud of and his best buddy Molly (his black lab).

He is servived by his daughter Shannon (Nate) Mott, Lakewood, Colo; Sister Shirley (Bert) Pressett, niece Lori and nephew Jeremy, Cedar City; nephew Chad (Leanne) Dunford and sister-in-law Kaye Manhart, Orem.

Preceeded in death by his father, mother and older brother Don.

Funeral services were in Delta, Colo., on Friday Dec. 8, 2011. Graveside services were in the Price Cemetery of Saturday, Dec. 9, 2011.

We love you Paul, you left us too soon.
