The body of a man found dead in a sewer manhole just east of Price off Highway 6 was identified as 38-year-old Christopher Robertson.

Carbon County Sheriff James Cordova on Wednesday released the information concerning the discovery of Robertson, whose body was found by Price River Water Improvement District workers during their routine checks of the sewer lines on Monday morning.

Robertson, of Price, was reported missing to the local authorities by his mother, Emma Robertson, on Nov. 29.

Cordova said authorities are still uncertain of the exact cause of death and are still investigating.
