Ronald Lee Archibald, age 69, passed away on Nov. 15, 2011 at South Lincoln Medical Center in Kemmerer, Wyo.
He was born on Sept. 25, 1942 in San Diego, Calif., the son of Leland John and Sylvia (Smith) Archibald. He married Connie R. Pike on June 20, 1981 in Elko, Nev.
Ron was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, fish, shoot, and spend time reloading ammunition. He enjoyed spending time four wheeling with his family.
He was an avid Chicago Bears fan, and loved to drink coffee.
He is survived by his wife, Connie, Kemmerer, Wyo.; children; Vickie Jo Christensen, Denver, Colo.; Tony (Becky) Archibald, Wellington; Shellie (John) Shaver, Aurora, Colo; Chris (Shandell) Archibald, Bountiful; Brian (Cheryl) Archibald, Price; Steve (Robin) Archibald, Price; Yvette Lacey, American Falls, Idaho; and Tracy Christensen, Phoenix, Ariz. He is also survived by his sisters, DeAnn Steinberg, San Diego, Calif; Carol (James) O'Brien, Bullhead City, Ariz; and Tammy (Tom) Green, Las Vegas, Nev.
He is also survived by twenty four grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
A time for sharing memories of Ron was celebrated on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011 at the Ball Family Chapel in Kemmerer, Wyo. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ball Family Chapel.
