PRICE - Our beloved mama, grandma, sister, cousin, aunt and friend, Nannette Larue Miller peacefully joined her soul mate and best friend in Heaven on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011.

Nannette was born Aug. 13, 1946 in Price to Christian R. and Gloria Losik Marshall. She graduated from Carbon High School and later attended College of Eastern Utah where she was a cheerleader. While attending CEU, she participated in the Miss Carbon County Pageant and in 1965 she graduated from cosmetology.

Nannette lived 65 years in which nearly 45 of those years were spent with the love of her life R. Jeff Miller to whom she married on March 18, 1967 in Carbon County. Jeff passed away on Sept. 3, 2011.

Together they moved to Logan where she proudly worked at the Blue Bird Café while Jeff attended USU. In 1969, they moved back to Price where they started their family and raised their three girls, Andria, Dawn and Michael.

She became the owner of the Family Hair Care Center which she managed and operated throughout the 80's. She later changed careers and began working for Planned Parenthood until she retired and became a full time care giver for her mother-in-law. She stayed active in the community and was past president of the Price Ladies of Elk's and a member of Soroptomists.

She had a passion for holiday decorating, sewing, crocheting, cooking, making the world's best Halloween costumes, and anything crafty imaginable. She loved fishing and camping with her family. Shopping for bargains and priding herself with a $3 outfit was one of her many unique and loveable traits. Mom had a way of making people laugh with what Jeff called her "Nannettisms". She always had a "wise crack", a way of comforting those around her, and her creative ideas and talent for making something out of nothing will be truly be missed.

Nannette will forever be missed by her "Big Sis", Shelly Boyack; cousins, Phyllis, Sherry and Stevie; her daughters and their families, Andria Collins and Lloyd Wilson, Dawn McGinnis, Michael and Jesus Pavia; grandchildren, Christian Hamilton, Chelsea and Brandon Collins, Anastacia McGinnis, Kaden Wilson, Emily and Amanda Pavia, Tayson, Christian and Makenzie Wilson, Cirie Noyes, Brianna and Sammy McGinnis V; two sister-in-laws, Merle Blair and Shanna (Buck) Thomas along with numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Jeff Miller; in-laws, Miles and Tillie Miller; dogs, Peaches and Tooter; aunts, uncles, grandparents and many close friends.

Momma we will never forget your funny ways, wisdom, thoughtfulness or forever famous purple Christmas Tree. We are so happy for you-give Dad a hug for us, we will miss you always.

Memorial service, Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, 10 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Friends are welcome to visit with the family Saturday one hour prior to services. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends can share memories of Nannette at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
