The AARP Driver Safety program is offering a special promotion during the month of November to recognize and thank veterans for their dedication and commitment to service. A regular four-hour class has been scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 10, from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the Carbon County Senior Center.

All veterans and spouses will be able to take the class free. All that is needed is some form of military identification. The class is open to others but the regular fee will be charged. An additional incentive for taking the class is a discount on auto insurance for those who qualify. To register for this class contact the Senior Center 636-3202 or Leonard Miller 650-7091.
