The Utah high school rodeo season is at the halfway mark and the Carbon team has been represented well. Ty Young is currently ranked third in the state standings in team roping while Smokey Tweddell holds down the 11th spot in the team roping standings.

Other team members who have qualified for the state rodeo finals are David Blanton in bull riding and McKet Young in breakaway roping.

The spring rodeo season will start again in April when the Carbon High Rodeo Club hosts their annual hometown rodeo April 18-19 at the Carbon County Fairgrounds.
