Carbon County will accept sealed bids for two (2) ten wheel dump
trucks with snow packages for our road operations.  The minimum
specifications are.

Ten wheel dump trucks
	Must be new unused trucks	Outboard drums
	Color Red if available		Tilt steering
	Minimum 425 HP 		130 Amp alternator
	Front mounted PTO pump		13 speed transmission & cooler		18,000 #
front end		40,000 # rear end 
	Cruise control			Locking differential, locking axle
	Air Ride cab			Automatic slack adjusters
	Air dryer			Back up alarm		
	Fire extinguisher 		AM/FM disk radio
	Driver side air ride seat		Cloth interior 
	Air Conditioning			Two 12 volt power outlets
	Heated Mirrors			8" convex mirrors
	11R 24.5 steel radial tires		10 hole wheels piloted
	Lift axle			minimum 140 gal fuel capacity
	18' dump bed & metal side boards	Sealed truck light system
	High lift tail gate & spreader chains	Roto Beam
	Automatic tarp system		Snow plow lights & fog lights
	Pennell hitch & electrical plug for trailer	Chipping bar  
	Tool Box			Cab protector                                             
                                             		Three position Jake

	Hydraulics run to rear of truck to run sander and pup ram

Snow Package
	Sander controls			17 foot sander spreader
	High pitched screens		Spill guard
	Grease line to rear of sander	Parts book
	On-Off control switch on joy stick	Tip up spinner chute	
	Spinner chute shall be capable of being swung up and pinned in the 
	up position to be out of the way for unloading hopper without the 
	use of tools
	A winch with ¼" cable shall be provided to facilitate easy raising

	of the spinner chute.
	The winch shall have anti-backlash feature for operator safety
	12' X 42" snow plow-blade, standard holes, power angle, quick 
	hitch and controls with parts book.	

	List all options or other features, also all maintenance and warranty
information.

	Bids are due at the Carbon County Clerk's office at 120 East Main,
Price, Utah 84501, prior to 5:00 p.m. November 1, 2011.  Bid opening
date is November 2, 2011 at a regular commission meeting beginning at
4:30 pm at the County Courthouse, 120 East Main Street, Price Utah. 
On the outside of envelope write (in Red Ink) "sealed bid for Dump
trucks".

	Carbon County is not responsible for bids that are received late due
to delays in delivery by any source.  Faxed bids are not accepted.

	Carbon County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive
any informality of any bid and to select the bid which in the opinion
of the County provides the best product, warranty and/or service for
the County.
