PRICE - Our loving father, grandfather, brother and longtime friend, Blake Clifford Lee, age 83, passed away Oct. 19, 2011 at Castleview Hospital in Price while surrounded by his family.
He was born July 5, 1928 in Roosevelt to Clifford and Olive Russell Lee.
On June 25, 1955, Blake married Cora Jean Finch in Colton; she passed away on Feb. 27, 2006.
Blake was a faithful and dedicated employee of The Utah Department of Transportation in Price for over 35 years. He took great pride in his work and he always made sure the roads were plowed and safe, even if it meant being away from his family during the holidays. He served two terms in the U.S. Army while stationed in Germany, Long Island, New York and Texas. In his earlier years, he enjoyed hunting, gardening and all types of woodworking. Family was the most important part of his life and he always looked forward to their Sunday drives. Blake will be dearly missed by his family and many dear friends.
Blake is survived by one daughter and two sons, Peggy (Brad) Jarvis, Price, Scott Lee, Price, Larry Lee, Salt Lake City; three sisters and one brother, Dorothy Livingston, Price, Kenna (Marvin) Mutz, Price, Jesse Peterson, Wellington, Art Lee, Florida; 10 loving grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, wife, Cora; brothers, Clark and Harrison Lee; sisters, Thelma Atwood and Cora Bradley; and daughter-in-law, Neesha Lee.
Graveside service, Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, Noon, Cliffview Cemetery in Price. Family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home Friday morning from 10:45-11:45 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are welcome daily and may share memories of Blake at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
