 A Notice of Intent for the following project submitted in accordance
with §R307-401-1, Utah Administrative Code (UAC), has been received
for consideration by the Executive Secretary, Utah Air Quality Board.
 Company Name:         Whitmar Exploration Company
 Location:                     Whitmar Exploration Company: Coal Creek
Compressor Station - SE/4 Section 34, T13S, R11E, Carbon County, UT 
 	Project Description:   Whitmar Exploration Corporation operates a
natural gas compressor station in Deadman Canyon near Coal Creek in
Carbon County.  The company has requested a modification to add two
natural gas-fired power generators rated at 500 and 610 hp.  Maximum
Achievable Control Technology Subpart ZZZZ requirements apply to the
generator engines.  New Source Performance Standard Subpart JJJJ
requirements do not apply to the generator engines.
 	The emissions, in tons per year, will change as follows: PM10
(including PM2.5) + 0.93, PM2.5 + 0.93, NOx + 12.60, CO + 10.67, VOC +
3.40, HAPs + 2.66, and CO2e + 4,406.00.  The changes in emissions will
result in the following, in tons per year, potential to emit totals: 
PM10 (including PM2.5) = 0.94, PM2.5 = 0.94, NOx = 27.80, CO = 25.77,
VOC = 10.50, HAPs = 3.46, and CO2e = 11,950.00.
 	The completed engineering evaluation and air quality impact analysis
showed that the proposed project meets the requirements of federal air
quality regulations and the State air quality rules.  The Executive
Secretary intends to issue an Approval Order pending a 30-day public
comment period.  The project proposal, estimate of the effect on local
air quality and draft Approval Order are available for public
inspection and comment at the Utah Division of Air Quality, 195 North
1950 West, Salt Lake City, UT 84116.  Written comments received by the
Division at this same address on or before November 17, 2011 will be
considered in making the final decision on the approval/disapproval of
the proposed project.  Email comments will also be accepted at  If anyone so requests to the Executive Secretary at the
Division in writing within 15 days of publication of this notice, a
hearing will be held in accordance with R307-401-7, UAC.
