On Oct. 21, 22 and 23 at 7:30 pm in the Price City Hall lobby, another Price Centennial activity will occur which involves a readers theatre production and will celebrate the founding of Price dramatically.

Tickets are free for each of these productions. Some tickets are being provided to the local churches for distribution. Tickets can also be obtained at the Price City Hall utilities office and there will be tickets available at the door.

John Behn, a local Boy Scouts of America district executive and familiar community actor, was approached by the Price Centennial Committee to produce this historical production.

A local playwright, Dr. Martin L. Kelly, was approached and after a substantial amount of research and interviews has written the original script entitled "A City in Blow Valley" for the production. The script includes many of the characters pictured in the famous murals in the Price City Hall lobby. Many local community members can trace their roots directly to these early pioneers of Price City.

The production is looking to involve both men and women from the area who would be interested in participating as actors in this readers theatre production. Auditions will be held this Friday and Saturday at the USU/CEU Geary Theatre from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.

Those chosen to be in the cast will be expected to participate in one rehearsal in the evening on Oct. 20 and then will perform in three performances on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Price City Hall lobby. The production is looking for four women and 15 men to fill rolls. All adults over the age of eighteen are invited to audition.
