After the recent performances of the Carbon boys and girls cross country teams, head coach Tellise Allen said she is confident both squads will finish well heading into the final home meet of the season.

At a meet in Moab, Allen said the girls finished in first place and the boys took sixth, despite dealing with harsh weather conditions.

Four of the girls finished in the top 10 at the meet with all region teams present.

Allen said the teams are looking forward to the home meet, which takes place at the Carbon Country Club starting at 4 p.m. with the JV squad and 5 p.m with the varsity.
