Smiles Oveson celebrated her 80th birthday Jan. 10.
Smiles was born in Rains and later moved to Elmo, where she has lived most of her life.
She retired from Carbon Hospital as a nurse.
She has seven children, 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
