Carbon County, Utah Request For Statements Of Qualifactions For Architectural Services

 Carbon County Utah, is hereby soliciting Statements of Qualifications
and Experience from licensed Utah Architectural firms to perform all
necessary tasks to design and build a new Courthouse facility located
at approximately 710 East 100 North, Price, Utah to house various
County governmental offices.

 The successful Architect will be selected based on experience,
similar projects, organization, responsiveness and other criteria. 
 A contract must be submitted with the proposal for review by the
County Attorney and approval of the County Board of Commissioners. 
 The successful Architect will meet with the County Commissioners,
staff and other County consultants to analyze constructability,
consider value added alternatives, and to develop a cost estimate for
the project.   They will then administer construction bidding or
negotiation and the construction of the facilities.   Only complete
proposals will be accepted.   Information about the project can be
obtained by calling (435) 636-3226 during regular business hours.  
Proposals must be submitted to Robert P. Pero, Carbon County
Clerk/Auditor at 120 East Main Street, Price, Utah, 84501 no later
than 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2011.   Please indicate on the
outside of the envelope in red "RFQ for Courthouse Building".

 The names of all firms who have timely submitted statements in
conformity with this notice shall be read aloud and entered into the
record of the public meeting of the Carbon County Commission on
October 19, 2011, at 4:30 p.m., at 120 East Main Street, Price, UT 
 84501.
