Castle Valley Center will hold fundraiser this Saturday

The Castle Valley Center will hold a fundraiser Saturday to benefit families of people with Cockayne Syndrome. The event will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and will feature a walk from the center to Castle Heights Elementary, games and food sales.

The syndrome is an extremely rare affliction that has no known treatment. The Share & Care Foundation, which will receive the proceeds covers some travel expenses to trips to Boston, where the only specialist in the disease is located.
