A tall order for a name change

With the help of a 101-foot-high crane and tall ladder trucks, workers from Young Electric Sign Co. change the signage of Far West Bank to AmericanWest Tuesday. The change in name does not represent a change in ownership. The 18 branches of AmericanWest in Utah have been going by Far West, while the 40 other branches in Washington and northern Idaho have been using the other name. This standardizes the company's name across its service area. The signs, by the way, are made of Lexan plastic, flexible and virtually shatter-proof.
