Playing on the road for the first time in 2011 and trying to keep their undefeated season alive, Carbon is leading the Union Cougars 10-7 at halftime.

Dinos wide receiver Nick Haycock scored on a 5-yard touchdown reception late in the second quarter giving the Dinos the lead at 10-7.

Carbon was trailing 7-3 after a Union touchdown, but the offense managed to piece together a drive with short runs and big pass completions that ended with Haycock scoring with under three minutes to go in the half.

Dinos quarterback Dakota Cisneros has 90 yards passing with one touchdown, but he has thrown two interceptions in the first half. Union has been unable to capitalize on the miscues as the Dino defense has been able to keep the Cougars' offense in check.
