Anthony (Tony) Carmen Ganino

Anthony (Tony) Carmen Ganino died Aug. 31, 2011, in Moab from cancer.

He was born to Rosario Aloysious Ganino and Edna Jean Millius Ganino on March 30, 1954, in Maryville, Tenn. He graduated from Emery High School in 1972.

He was a carpenter and worked construction throughout his life. He loved to gamble and travel and was an excellent artist. He was always smiling and very content with just the basics. He was a gypsy at heart.

He is survived by his son, Cody (Jessica) Briggs, Chico, Calif; daughter Melissa (Jess) McKimmey, Moab; siblings Rusty Ganino, Rawlins, Wyo; Maria (Joe) West, Moab; Joey Ganino, Idaho Springs, Idaho; Danny (Kate) Ganino, Moab; Susan (Ervin) Feichko, Huntington; sister-in-law Kathy Ganino, Huntington; and very special friend Norma Larabee, Moab.

Proceeded in death by his parents, step-father Darwin Jensen, brother Bruno Ganino and one nephew, Brandon Curtis.

A memorial will be held in his honor at a later date in Moab.
